By using LayersApart you agree to these terms. LayersApart operates the site.
Accounts
You need an account, created by signing in with your email, to split images. Keep access to your email secure; anyone who can read it can sign in.
Credits, payments and refunds
- Splits are paid with credits. Each split charges credits for every returned image (the background and each layer) at the price shown before you start.
- When a split starts we hold enough credits for the largest possible result and return the unused part when it finishes. A split that fails is not charged.
- Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
- Unused credits from a pack bought in the last 14 days can be refunded on request. Credits already spent on completed splits are not refunded, because the result is delivered immediately; if a result is clearly broken, write to us and we will look at it.
What you may upload
Only upload images you own or have permission to use. Do not upload illegal content, content that sexualises minors, or images of real people used to harass, deceive or impersonate them. The model provider may reject images that fail its safety checks.
Your results
As between you and us, you keep whatever rights you have in your uploaded image, and you may use the returned layers for any lawful purpose, including commercial work. Splitting an image does not give you rights in someone else’s artwork.
AI output
Layers are generated by an AI model. They may redraw, change or omit details of the original, and the same image can give different results. Check results before relying on them.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as is. We may change prices or features; current prices are always shown before you start a split. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
